Stray kitty

I have been crazy busy with freelance work and realized it has been many weeks since I posted.

Here are a few photos of an adorable kitty I took in for the night.

Beautiful Husky

I went to a gorgeous pear orchard yesterday for the paper and they use Siberian Huskies to monitor the orchard and chase off deer and other destructive animals. Anyway, this adorable guy chased a deer right through the electric fence (he was wearing an electric collar!) and got hit by a car. He underwent surgery to his back leg and is recovering nicely. The owners decided he would be better off with a family and are searching for someone to adopt him. He is the sweetest of dogs and gave me a very gentle kiss on the nose.

Pretty kids and kittens

I was suppose to go to a friends house to photograph her new goats but they were a bit too camera shy their second day at home. So, I photographed her beautiful daughter Casey with her young cat Chaos.

Fascination with old cars

Another object I love to photograph is old cars. So, here is one I found parked on the street near Albright College.

Angels and Crosses

I have always had a fascination with angels and crosses at cemeteries. Here are pics I took a bit ago at Padre Pio.

Okay, so I love animals. All animals not just dogs and cats. I always wanted to meet an elephant or baby lion or tiger. But, today I stopped and visited my favorite camel. He or she (I think it is a boy) is in a pasture along a somewhat country road. So, I like to stop and say hello.

Here are some recent pics of my niece. I think she is absolutely stunning. She photographs really well and doesn't seem to really notice the camera.

Various NYC pics....

I was in NYC over the weekend and planned on going to Coney Island but once I got there it was so crowded I turned around. I also wanted to photograph the lifting of the "Giglio" at the 121st annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel feast in Williamsburg, Brooklyn but alas the crowd and heat were overwhelming. PLUS, my friend Arlene forgot to mention they go for LUNCH before lifting it so the crowd swells and swells while they are eating! But, I have a photo of the statue that weighs many tons and is lifted by about 130 men.

Also, for many of you who know me I always manage to get a dog or cat into a photo and I didn't disappoint this time around....a dog AND a cat pic.

I love this photo...

I took this photo while photographing soccer play-offs in Hershey. The roller coaster was fairly close and I had a long lens so it was perfect.
